VIERA, FLA. – The ABC (Applauding Brevard’s Champions) Awards Gala, presented by Community Credit Union and hosted by Brevard Schools Foundation for Brevard Public Schools (BPS), was held on January 23 at the King Center in Melbourne.  During this event, winners from various categories were recognized and revealed culminating in the announcement of this year’s Teacher of the Year, Jason Schack from Melbourne High. Congratulations to all of the winners!

This past weekend Rockledge High’s Future Educators of America (FEA) attended the annual State Conference in Orlando. Emily Johnson won second place in the state for the essay competition. Deanna Breckenridge was elected to the Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA) Executive Board as President for 2013-2014.
